Description
This product has recently been launched in Australia and has a different mounting system to the traditional suction cup. The front facing camera is strapped onto the rear vision mirror with the unit essentially becoming your rear vision mirror. The rear camera is mounted with an adhesive sticker to the rear window of the vehicle with the angle of the camera being optimised by an adjustable hinge system.
The left quarter of the forward facing unit displays the footage from both cameras. The unit allows you to toggle between having just the forward facing footage, the rear facing footage or both.
The forward facing camera has very high image quality at 1,296P at 30FPS due to a high quality image processing chip. The rear camera has high definition image quality at 1,080P.
The camera also has motion detection and collision detection ability which enables the camera to begin recording when under power saving mode in the event the camera senses movement around the vehicle or if the camera senses a collision.
